Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in (2:33:12) Segment 26

This speedrun was done on the XBOX 360 version of OoT. Only one cheat was involved in the making of this Segment. The cheat that lets you find the “A” button so you can roll. Any further accusations of me cheating will just get a two word reply from me and be blocked.

you know, I just realized something

by naming yourself “A”, you must save like, 5 minutes of total gameplay from actually using a real name like “Link”, as the time it takes to skip is faster by a few ms, as well as the time it takes to type it out on screen. neat.

    also excellent world record bro

i gotz this game for only 2 DOLLARS!!! apperantly they had no sense of gaming.

The A button is green, so it’s the NGC version. But it can also be played in an emulator extracting the ROM from the disc.

Oh, well, who cares… but: there’s NO XBOX360 version of Ocarina of Time. (It may be like you said, an N64 emulator on the original Xbox)

    See ya!

but as far as i know the 360 cannot play N64 emu’s as of now…

maybe this was done on the original Xbox

how you make the bridge to ganons castle if your missing 2 or 3 medallions?

  14. bigfredtj 28 November 2009 at 6:59 pm #

wow, you know the game extremely well… each small detail like one jumped corner saved you seconds… must have taken quite a bit of preparation… crazy… and he isn’t cheating… he’s using the game mechanics cleverly.

  19. FlyingSquirellInFace 28 November 2009 at 10:14 pm #

The game wasn’t meant to be played like this :(

  20. TheFireRed 28 November 2009 at 11:05 pm #

The only thing I can think now is a N64 emulator for 360.

But, as I can see, this is the Collector’s Edition or OoT+Master Quest, both for GameCube. (Red and Green buttons, y’now)

You should know that Zelda is one of Nintendo’s best franchises, and they would never release any Zelda on other systems.

  22. theragingnoob 29 November 2009 at 12:31 am #

  23. chr1sred 29 November 2009 at 1:08 am #

lol epona is in the credits, what an asset she was xD

  24. chr1sred 29 November 2009 at 1:43 am #

there are lots of other videos showing the complete run through, how to do everything, no hacks.. also half the fun is figuring it all out for yourself.. it’s a puzzle adventure game, looking online on how to do things is boring

  25. floppybelly 29 November 2009 at 1:58 am #

While speedruns are all well and good, I get the feeling that this play-through skipped a lot of the game. Like how you used the glitches to bomb and duck your way around things, I wish we could see the game the way it’s meant to be played. You never even rode Epona!
I watched this because I’ve never been able to beat the game, and I was wondering what the rest of the story is like. Do you think you could maybe go back and show us what you skipped please?
