Your a noob! Idiot! The PS3 has 256MB running at 3.2GHZ XDR memory dedicated to Cell, and 256MB GDDR3 memory dedicated to Nvidia RSX. The RSX has access to the XDR memory, unknown to many people. This is truth, you can look it up on google or any search engine. The PS3 accesses memory the same way 360 does, but it still has a dedicated format so that minimal performance can still be had gauranteed so graphics aren’t over run over gameplay or vice versa.

PS3 Processor, batter use Intel Core i7 and i5

has 256 RAM of video and 256 RAM in the GPU. The RSX GPU is linked to the cell processor. The cell helps with increasing higher textures without the RSX. The cell can reach 2 Teroflops of speed, the 360 Xenon can reach 356 Megaflops. PS3 is more advanced.

PS3 has 3.2GHz memory, it doesn’t need any more.

Oh man thats more as Memory or Chips! You can not mean the ps 3 is not good. She is THE BEST.

  12. tjr4118 26 November 2009 at 6:36 pm #

no ps3 has two 256mb chips

  13. kahuna028 26 November 2009 at 7:23 pm #

well not really, the ps3 has 256 for the cpu and 256 for the gpu. the 360 has 512 but it is shared by both the cpu and the gpu

hmmm apple’s gcd seems to make it easy

  15. erikouwehand 26 November 2009 at 9:03 pm #

oh yeah? its not all about cpu, you also need memory, ps3 256 mb memory? noob memory!! common, even the 360 has more

  16. erikouwehand 26 November 2009 at 9:12 pm #

normal computer?? fuck you pc owns ps3, quad core ftw!!! no one can write for 8 cores hahahahhahaha

  17. cheese2396 26 November 2009 at 9:25 pm #

oops lol i forgot, i dont actually own a ps3
however, chances are youre probably using a computer to go on youtube

  18. macf1soon 26 November 2009 at 9:31 pm #

no you don’t need to own a pc. ps3 can use youtube and it looks better on the ps3 system than any pc

    im in love

mmm yeh i realised now and i know about dd and all but they are most likely keep that as a second option
and they got a tv in 21:15 or something instead of 16:9 which is movie screen size not sure how much it is tho very costly, and they got 1440p tv just they cost alot and rnt really available easily
and cell was built for calculations and pc and xbox ones were built for speed, ps3 one is meant for like physics and such where as pc ones r built for speed which is good on a pc and works for xbox

    *Same day* not game day

  22. JEFFERYNOTHING 27 November 2009 at 12:25 am #

When you have the fastest supercomputer in the world “The Roadrunner” running the simulations on them. I believe it is very safe.

  23. JEFFERYNOTHING 27 November 2009 at 12:36 am #

Okay, let me correct you. Most likely the nextbox will have both downloadable full games, and disc based released on the game day. But to M$ moving to digital distribution. I am not going to bother explaining this, but in reality The Cell is only marginally more powerful than the 360’s PowerPC Tri-Core Xenon. TV’s only go up to 1080p, and will be outrageously expensive when they go above. Don’t expect that for a while.

  24. cheese2396 27 November 2009 at 1:12 am #

well ya the cell processor’s going to be better than the processor in a four-function calculator
(i realize that thats an old comment)

  25. cheese2396 27 November 2009 at 1:57 am #

you must own a pc to go on youtube
just saying that you might have wanted to phrase that as “pc gamers”
