I’m only 15. It’s not like I’m some guy in my thirty’s looking back on my childhood!

It looks fun, and I’m sure you’d think it is fun, but you won’t give it a chance because you’re so afraid of new things that you wouldn’t even try it if someone gave it to you.

    Grow up.

What do you mean? This game looks stupid!

    Stop lying to yourself.

Sadly this looks like it’s lacking a lot of what made the C64 version a classic – open areas of tricky jewel collecting mayhem.

This version looks like a rather linear adaptation for the masses that can’t play a real game.

I could be wrong – will have to try it sometime I guess.

Boulder Dash! Wait a minute!? What happened to the Boilder Dash I new and love on the NES?

hmmm this video seem to say that you can play on a DS versus a PSP.

    That is surprising.

This proves that PSP is evil!

Sorry, but I still prefer the original c64/Atari version. This version just goes too far with the graphics and there are too many objects/items to remember.

I know this is what gamers today usually want to see, especially something like a storyline… but to make it blunt, this just ruins the whole idea of the original game.

Its a good game just the gun sucks

  14. RossPK81 22 November 2009 at 5:41 am #

Yeah I’m not sure about guns and new features, it seems that the formula is being messed around with too much.

Even though I prefer the original games, I think it is amazing that new games are coming for Boulder Dash; I hope it will be a good game and since I have already tested Boulder Dash EX, I think I may survive this game with added features. And I haven’t faced a funny-looking boss since QBob.

    This looks shit.

    It’s not Boulderdash.

The newer the port the less to do with the original. The 64 version is great. Lets keeps it that way. If FSS want to make money I bet they can make a lot if the original BD 1-2-3 was released on one of those C64 DTV joysticks. I’m certainly not buying Boulder Dash Rocks.
