not gonna lie.. i watch my boyfriend play the adventure mode. it really is like a movie!
So, this is a game for people who, deep down, hate both women and video games.
textualchemist, I’m also a girl gamer, and I play Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and Uncharted 2 as well. Both AMAZING games. I really think you should buy them. ^^
And I don’t think this commercial was trying to promote the stereotype that girls aren’t gamers…I think it was trying to show how Uncharted plays like a movie (it actually kinda does. The cutscenes are brilliant!). It’s really worth buying and I hope you get it. ^_^

There are 2 other adverts out there-one with an upset girlfriend [because her 'tarded BF hadn't hooked up the PS3 to the interwebs [so she can play some KZ2 (made that last part up], and the other with a mother, daughter, and son playing LBP [2 girls?!]…I had a friend watching me play U2 and wanted me to keep going because it felt like a movie. so yeah, this ad isn’t too far off.

I doubt the marketing monkeys in charge of this advert will read this comment, but, as a girl gamer, I was really excited about this game . . . and this advert has made me have second thoughts about buying it. It sounds like a stupid overreaction, but I don’t want to spend my money on a company that promotes the stereotype that girls aren’t gamers, that they only watch games and not play them.

My friend watched my play uncharted 2 for 4hrs straight. Best damn movie he’s seen in a long ass time.
Dude, this happened to me. Except with my whole family. They all sat down and watched me play. For a second my mom thought it was a movie.
